Empowering individuals for team success
Communicate, prioritise, thrive
Do you have a good relationship with your manager? Do people at your company know what you've been working on? Or are you struggling to communicate your needs at work? To align expectations with peers? Are you able to say no when you have too much on your plate?
This workshop is designed to help individuals become better communicators, prioritise tasks effectively, set boundaries, and foster a culture of accountability and resiliency.
While all this is useful while working with your manager, skills taught in this workshop are just as useful when dealing with coworkers, your volunteering work, community, basically anywhere people are working together and other people ask for your time.
As an individual, you will learn essential skills like:
- Improving communication styles for clearer and more effective conversations
- Prioritising tasks based on constraints and collaborating around them
- Setting boundaries and learning to say 'no'
- Encouraging a culture of transparency, accountability, and high performance
- Improving your personal brand by advocating for yourself, and increase your opportunities to grow and develop at work
- Building resiliency and self-care through self-awareness
As a manager, you will value the positive impact on your team members':
- Time management - team members will become more efficient with their tasks and your overall team productivity will improve.
- Increased performance - effective communication and prioritisation will lead to higher quality work and greater output.
- Transparency - open dialogue fostering trust within the team. This will result in fewer misunderstandings and a more cohesive working environment.
- Reduction in frustration - clearer communication and more realistic expectations around what can be accomplished will reduce stress and conflict within the team.
- High-performing team members - by enhancing these skills we amplify your team's capabilities, enabling individuals to grow while also making a significant contribution to the organisation.
Workshop structure
The workshop will have no more than ten people so we can really explore the material. Through a series of presentations, group discussions, and scenario-based role-plays, you will work with others, share experiences, and learn together.
